To the Wise | Isaiah prophesied a frequently quoted truth that Yahuwah would gather Judah from the four corners of the earth. To gain wisdom on this verse matter we must understand to things… (1) there are 34 ways to gather… What’s the significance of this one? (2) What are these 4 corners?

And He shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Hebrew | First, כנף (canaph) is the word translated to ‘corners’ in this verse and is actually the Hebrew word meaning ‘wing’, not the word typically translated as ‘corner’ which is a Hebrew word actually meaning ‘face’ as to say the ‘sides’ of something. Alternatively, this same word could be ‘like a region’. Secondly, the Hebrew word used here for ‘gather’, is one of the most common words translated this way but the word is better defined as to ‘hurry to go’. And we shall push the standard to the nations and join we the castaways of Israel and we will be spreading ones of Judah he will travel quickly from the four winged ones/hidden ones/wings/like regions of the earth.

Isaiah 11:12, translated

Isaiah prophesied 3 different truths that pertain to the whole world.

1. The powers that are Yahuwah will push (i.e. force their hand) the standard of the Gentiles, i.e. nations. Literally, they will ‘press the energy(שא) of the gentile’s source of protection(נס)’
2. Those same powers will join together the castaways of Israel.
3. … and quickly spread Judah out from their hidden places, as to say the places covered by the wings (see Rev 7) or someplace that is like regions of the earth.
