I have learned that, most often, we tend to try to learn things the hard way rather than observing those who have already been there to garner the faith we need to elevate. Chapter 2 of Deuteronomy reminds us that we are not the first and certainly not the only and if we would just look to others for strength, rather than in envy, we could garner the faith we need to overcome!
Language was the single most significant human development. By examining it in its earliest forms, we learn who we were, how we thought, what we believed, and where we saw ourselves in the grand scheme of a largely unknown world. Some of these are lost to us today, and we are therefore lost. I use Ancient Paleo Hebrew to find my way back to the image I was initially created in – to understand who I am and what I’m really made of.
